Success with BeautiControl means so many things to so many consultants!
For me, it means having a JOB (if you can call it that) that I absolutely LOVE...being able to work from home while making incredible income, having FUN doing what I do, and being able to make a difference in the lives of others through our amazing products and opportunity. What does it mean to you?
If you are here today...reading this...then you are already successful...because you have found the BEST products on the market...and you get the BEST deal on them! You can't help but become more successful with BC from that point on...and to do that...all you have to do is just SHARE the products with PEOPLE! It IS really that easy! Yes, you are going to get NO's...but I promise you...it's just a NO...so what? Ask someone else? You have a lot of people out there that NEED and WANT our products...but they DO NOT know they exists...or they can't find who to get them from!
If you don't believe that...read the info that I have on our SELLING page. I do believe that absolutely ANY ONE who shares a love for our amazing products...CAN be successful with BeautiControl...at whatever level of success YOU determine that you want! I also believe that not everyone is cut out to "work" the business. It is like with anything else...if you don't like what you are doing...then you are not going to be good at it. On the other hand...if you DO like what you are doing...you can be amazing at it!
From the bottom of my heart, my mission is to simply help all of you to have beautiful, radiant, and younger looking skin...and flawless makeup! Beyond that...my mission is to help any of you that "choose" to work the business...to succeed in achieving your goals. Whether you are a super star...or not...you are equally important to me...because YOU are YOU and YOU are part of our team!
One of the BEST parts of our "opportunity" is that you DO have choices...you can simply use the products and save money on them...you can choose to make some extra money...or you can choose that you want it all...BUT...the choice is yours...and yours alone.
One thing that keeps us all the same...no matter what level we achieve...we are all just consultants who LOVE the products...and LOVE to get them at cost! I am no different than any of you in that regard. Even though I chose at some point that I wanted more with BC...I am still ultimately a consultant who LOVES the products and LOVES getting them at cost! I also LOVE being able to SHARE these incredible products and my consultant opportunity with others!
The only difference that separates me from the consultant level...is that I chose to make this a career. When I made the decision that I wanted more out of BC...that I wanted to "let it" enrich my life...and help me become the person that I wanted to be...helping others...and have a purpose...other than just punching a time clock and paying bills...I fought with myself daily to overcome many things that were holding me back. I battled with fear of rejection, being pushy, not confident, etc., many of the same things most people deal with. With a dertermination to succeed...and overcome these things, in the process I developed easy ways/sayings to help me win my battles. I hope you find these helpful!
1. FUN – It has to be fun for you to want to keep doing it…and if it is FUN for you…it will be FUN for everyone else!
2. SIMPLE – Keep it simple! It is not simple for you…it won’t be fun!
3. VALUE - Realize the VALUE of what you have! Write down a list of all the benefits that you have because you are a BC Consultant. It's SO MUCH EASIER to share something that YOU value yourself! Break it down...to what you got in your kit and for how much...to your discounts on products...to your "latest & greatest products" that you have access too...the option to make money...offering clients customized skin care, glamour, and pampering...and a truly incredible company that is there for us...and because of us. You truly have an amazing value to share with others!
The simplicity of the VALUE of what you have is this...YOU...and YOU alone...have the POWER...to change the world! Yes!!! I am serious!
Have you ever heard the saying "If mama ain't happy...then no one else is either"? Well...there you go. That is the POWER that we have...because WE can make mama happy by helping her have beautiful skin, look younger, have flawless makeup, gain confidence, become a business woman...whatever makes her happy! Then...as more "mamas" out there are happier...everyone around them will be too...and everyone around them...and so on! We DO have the POWER to change the world...with what we have to offer others! Our business IS LIFE CHANGING...in so many ways!
4. CONSISTENCY - Whatever you are doing...in this business...and in life...it has to
be done consistent for it to work!!! I cannot stress this enough! Think about it...if
you are dieting...do you lose weight if you are on your diet for 2 days and off for
5? Do you learn to ride a bicycle by trying one time...and then not attempting it
again for 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, etc.? DECIDE how much money you want to
make with BC a month...and then work towards achieving that. At bare minimum
anyone can work with TWO new people a month...which will considerably GROW
your business over time...when done consistently. Take a look at that info and

BOTTOM LINE - If it don't go on their FACE...then it's NOT a REORDER product! Women CANNOT cover their FACE!!! What do YOU think is more important...face products...or Instant Manicure & Foot Cream? What do you think they will REORDER? Be sure and look and listen to the two files above...so that you DO NOT miss out on this INCREDIBLE potential!
5. HEART - Let your heart guide you in all your actions...and your heart speak through your mouth. When you talk about the products...share from your heart...not a piece of paper. Share what you know...and you love! The products and opportunity will sell themselves...if they are shared...and when you speak from yoru heart.
6. WIIFM - What's In It For Them? Focus your every thought on What's In It For Them...which basically means that you MUST be tuned into their station. The best part of WIIFM is that WHEN you focus on what's in it for them...and really really focus on that...you act, talk, and do with a servant's heart...and there is no way that you can do anything wrong. Focusing on WIIFM takes the focus off of your fears and concerns and actually allows you to serve them. For example...if you are trying to get some bookings...think about all the ways that you can bless others...and use those thoughts to speak from your heart when telling about what you do. Follow the Golden Rule...and think of how YOU would want to be treated...and what you like when talking to others. People will not remember what you say...or do...but they will remember how you made them feel.
7. PACKAGING IS EVERYTHING - Package everything you do with a WIIFM attitude. Focus on them...not you...and your packaging will be irristible! Think about how you package things now...to your children...your husband...your boss...etc. to get a result that you want. This is no different...you have to focus on WIIFM!
8. WING IT - Don't get all caught up in reading, watching videos, anticipating,
organizing, preparing, having forms, etc. Just DO IT! Just SHARE product with people...and I promise that the rest will take care of itself! If you find yourself sharing products and you go blank...ask a question...and listen...before you know it you will be right back on track! The more you DO...the better you get! As a woman, you have a natural instinct about skin care, makeup, and pampering others...just use your God given talents...and bless others!
9. RESPECT YOUR BUSINESS AS A BUSINESS - If you don't respect your business...how can you expect others to respect it...or you for that matter? Being in business, especially in a consumable product business, and even more especially since you are dealing with women's makeup and skin care...brings a need for credibility...and in saying that...the longer you do BC...the more credibility you gain! You have a phenomenal company behind you, phenomenal products to work with...but the ultimate sharing begins with you.
While you are sharing products with others...and you begin to grow clients...always keep this in mind to help YOU respect YOUR business: The general rule of trade is simple...you pick out what you want...you PAY FOR IT...and you take it home. Anything other than that...is asking for trouble. A simple way to keep you in tune with this...is to think...is this something that they can go somewhere else and do? For example...if you go to the grocery store...and you put items that you need in your cart...and you get to the checkout...and they ring you up...and you say..."oh, sorry...I left my checkbook at home", or "oh, I just remembered that I don't get paid until Monday", etc...do you really think they are going to let you take those groceries home??? NO. Practice the same rule of thumb with your business!
One thing that women are always leary of is changing their makeup or skin care...just because a friend starts selling some brand they have never heard of. I know that I am picky...and I would not want to do that. I would be open to try it...but in the back of my mind...I would be thinking...well...if I like this...and she quits selling it...where am I going to get it? Rome was not build in a day...and neither will a successful business. But with determination...and persistence...consistency...passion...your business will grow. If at some point you do realize that you just don't want to do BC...please I beg you...whoever you are...and who ever is your Director...please give your clients to them. It breaks my heart when I have clients that find me...and say "I use to buy BC from so and so...and I loved it...and then I lost track of her...or she quit selling it...etc." Those clients trusted you at one point...please don't leave them out in the cold trying to find their products!
10. LISTEN & LEARN FROM THOSE WHO HAVE WALKED BEFORE YOU - Apply this to your business...and your life. If I can imprint one thing on you...it would be this. This doesn't mean that we will "always" do what they suggest...but we can listen and then make an educated decision. As someone who is now reached 50, I can tell you that so many times, I think how much stuff I remember so and so saying...and how right they were! But...I was hard headed...and to had to it my own way. Still a little like that...but I have learned to respect my elders...plain and simple :)
11. FOCUS ON ACTIVITIES THAT BUILD YOUR BUSINESS AND MAKE YOU MONEY
YOU + People + Products = Results IT IS THAT SIMPLE
These are the ONLY ingredients needed to make money with BC! Having a bunch of forms, worrying about organizing, trying to figure everything out, etc....is all just idle time consumers. Spend your time on the ingredients above...and I promise you...the rest will fall into place! When you start to think about what you want to do...to achieve whatever you are reaching for...think about it and ask yourself "is this something that is going to help me build my business...both immediate and long term?" If the answer to that is no...then don't do it. Things like organizing your office...reading how everyone else is doing it...are NOT income producing activities. Talking to people...and sharing products with people ARE income producing activities!

I Implement New Ways of Thinking – Start practicing daily substituting words such as “will” instead of “maybe”; “can” instead of “think”; “am” instead of “try” '
"when" instead of "if" into your verbiage when talking to anyone…business or personal.
C Commitment & Consistency – You have to be committed to reaching your goal...and be consistent in "working" towards your goal. You have to SEE it, PICTURE yourself there, and COMMMITT to achieving it!
A Attitude is 100% of Success – Your attitude is the single most important thing you can do to succeed. Positivity is like a magnet…it attracts positive things! Negativity is also like a magnet…it attracts negative things! Which do you want in your life? Make everything you do positive…and only think positive!
N NO EXCUSES! – Accept NO EXCUSES from yourself…or from others! YOU have the power to change your destiny. Focus on your goal and keep seeing and talking to the people DAILY!
D Decide you will succeed – Give yourself permission to succeed and achieve great things…and decide to do it…no matter what!
O Overcome Obstacles – Everyone has obstacles…daily! Every obstacle is only a ROAD BLOCK…for which there IS always a DETOUR! You just have to find it and move on!
I Implement Belief in Yourself and Your Business – You must first believe that you are worthy of a better life and accept that. Only then can you be a testimony to others through your passion for your products, opportunity, and changing lives!
T Tell others what you are going to achieve – Tell everyone you see your WHY! Make yourself accountable by sharing your dreams!
I CAN DO IT! – Say this 5 times to yourself EVERY DAY…first thing every single day!
